Panonske terme

The main purpose was to merge tradition, knowledge and offer of individual destinations in the common brand of Panonske terme, which gives pleasure to the guests of all generations, to seekers of active and relaxation holidays by fulfilling their expectations on the basis of a high-quality and wide range of services, accommodation capacities, genuine culinary art ("Smells of Prekmurje"), medical and wellness services, and of course by adapting to their wishes and needs. A high-quality offer is available to all guests who are aware of the importance of health and healthy lifestyle, and the meaning of family, to participants of seminars and congresses, and to businesspeople. All these guests are given opportunities to preserve and strengthen their health, spend active holidays, have fun and successfully organise congresses and meetings.

The basic objective of "Panonske terme" is to become the leading tourist company in Slovenia, which will have 5000 bed capacities available. Consequently, we will annually record 1 million overnight stays or generate revenue of € 10 m and employ 1000 persons.

 

In order for this objective to be achieved, extensive investments in development will be required. Therefore, the group plans the following big investments in the period of 2004-2006:

  • building of the Thermal Park at Terme Ptuj (€ 1.9 m),
  • renovation of the Wellness Centre Thermalium at Terme 3000 (€ 2.56 m),
  • renovation of the Health Centre Three Hearts at Zdravilišče Radenci (€ 2.1 m),
  • building of the Apartment Settlement Lipov gaj at Terme Lendava (€ 3.16 m),
  • building of a 5-star hotel at Terme 3000 (€ 18 m),
  • extension and adaptation of the facilities at Terme Banovci (€ 1.75 m),
  • renovation of hotels Radin and Miral at Zdravilišče Radenci (€ 5.4 m),
  • renovation of the hotel Lipa at Terme Lendava (€ 3 m),
  • building of a four-star hotel at Terme Ptuj (€ 12 m).

The total amount of development investments of the group in the period of 2004-2006 totals € 50 m.

European funds: € 8 m or 16% of all funds.

 

In addition to investments in development, competitive edge of Panonske terme will also contribute to the attainment of the objective, namely:

  • price – quality ratio of hotel services and other services;
  • state of-the-art wellness centres in Europe (Thermalium, "Three Hearts");
  • unique thermo-mineral waters: "black water", paraffin, mineral;
  • natural and clean environment;
  • genuine local cuisine;
  • golf courses with 18 holes;
  • comprehensive and well-rounded tourist product.

The vision of Panonske terme is to provide to the European market the best quality joint tourist product, which comprises accommodation, catering, medical, bathing, sport and recreation and fun activities.
